Today Jason Brookner with Andrews Kurth presented his unique approach to the issues and complexities surrounding corporate bankruptcy. What is unique about Jason is his incredible depth of experience in this issue both for Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 filings. Member Lead Exchange
One of the core functions of the DRT is to help members with leads. Every month we dedicated one of our breakfast meetings to Lead Exchanges.
The Lead Exchange process is very simple yet powerful. Members sit at tables of 10 and are given 2 minutes each to discuss their business lead needs. These needs can be anything from an introduction to a specific person or a general call for leads within a specific industry. The table moderators record each request and the members at the table can then provide contact information etc.
This format has proven to be one of the most powerful benefits of the DRT. Unlike most networking groups, this format provides a direct response vehicle for members to get qualified leads with referrals from trusted sources. And since each session is recorded, members have a record of who made what promise and can follow up with that member to pursue the leads mentioned.
Now, this system can only work if members know and trust each other. This is one of the core reasons why our meetings are held each Tuesday. Through frequency of meetings, we can begin to learn about each other’s business and build the trust needed to help refer each other business. No other business group can claim this type of powerful format and it is one reason why the DRT is so unique.
