Karl Chaio and his obession with Cars

July 31, 2007

If you spend any time with Karl, one thing is perfectly clear…he LOVES cars. More of an obsession than a passion, Karl is an avid auto enthusiast. Today Karl gave an overview of his love and role as General Sales Manager for Park Place Maserati. Karl was asked to help run this car dealership for a number of reasons. He spoke with great passion about the care and service they give to their customers. He also gave an interesting history of Maserati and its relationship with Ferrari. Needless to say the new line of cars coming from Italy are simply amazing. For example did you know that a Maserati shares many of the same motor and suspension of a Ferrari?

If you are seriously considering purchasing a luxury automobile, call Karl. If if you have interest in a completely different product line Karl will share with you his insight on both buying a car and his experience with the 100s of cars he has owned personally over the years. (FYI, in his teens he bought a BMW on his Dad’s Amex. I told you it was an obsession!).

Presentation by Simon Sinek

July 10, 2007

Today the DRT was honored to host Simon Sinek with Sinek Partners. He gave an amazing presentation on the “Why” of business. In his illustrative speech he spoke about the “why, how and what” of business and how too many businesses focus on the “what” and not the “why” of what they do. The most interesting by-product of the “why” is the fact that companies that focus on this create a huge competitive advantage as opposed to the “what” of the business.
