Lawrence Briggs, The InvestIn Forum

January 30, 2007

Lawrence Briggs presented to the DRT today on his organization, The InvestInForum. During his presentation he discussed the focus of the Forum to aid start up companies in their search for Angel Investors and provide a mechanism for Angel Investors to review deals. The Forum is unique in Dallas as it is one of few formalized angel groups. While the organization does not directly invest in companies, the members of the Forum are presented deals monthly and then make their own arrangements to work with the company on their investment needs.

If you are interested in working with an angel group, view their website at http://www.theinvestinforum.com/. It contains many useful resources for those looking for investments along with ways for Angel investors to join the group. You should note that those seeking funding are pre-screened. This screening process helps insure quality candidates for their members. In some cases the Forum will help nurture companies prior to their presentation to the group.
